Archive of a Symphony

My last semester at SVA is nearing the end and I am now in the process of finishing up last projects and preparing for open studios. My large body of work Trees that look like wires that look like hands will be up in my studio, consisting of 138 drawings, along side with a number of prints and small paintings.

The original presentation of my drawing series could not come to fruition due to space issues, so I got to thinking on how I could make a record of the work as a whole. A stand in for what the work meant to me and how important it was for me to have it all together. I have been thinking about sculpture more and more over the last few months, and with this being my first real attempt at anything of the sort, I am excited to explore the new possibilities that it could produce along side as to how it could further my painting practice.
